A 24/7 care support team experienced and trained to assist residents with daily personalized care activities tailored according to their needs and preferences in a comprehensive and compassionate home like ambiance.
Daily Living Activities
Medication management, bathing and grooming, incontinence and toileting care, personalized meal preparation and meal planning according to clients preferences, housekeeping, laundry, daily activities to keep the residents engaged based on their interests such as arts and crafts, music, board and word games, social events, gardening and some indoor and outdoor activities. We do encourage residents participation in our daily activities like folding small laundry items, help with easy food preparation and kitchen tasks to promote their independence and purpose. Family members were encouraged to participate and visit to maintain connection with their loved ones.
Specialized Care
Specialized care for individuals with specific needs like Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, Diabetes, Hospice and end of life care, catheter care, hoyer lift, wheel chair, gait belt, transfer assistance and developmental disabilities.
About Us
My Joyful Home is an Adult Family Home located in a peaceful and safe neighborhood right next door to the Monroe Senior Center. Located also in the neighborhood within walking distance, is the public library, rotary park and wiggly park. In case of emergencies we are a block from the fire and police station and 1.5 miles from EvergreenHealth Hospital Monroe. There are various grocery stores, restaurants and churches around the area.
A 3 bedroom rambler home with plans to add three more in the near future. One private room that can be single or double occupancy with adjoining bathroom, walk in closet and a view/access to the back deck and garden. There are two other good size bedrooms with a shared roll in shower. Open concept, spacious and bright living room, kitchen and dining area.
